Something to make all you eco-geeks breathe a (small) sigh of relief: Lionsgate, an independent film studio, is going to be packaging a large amount of their DVDs in eco conscious materials. Environmentalleader.com explains that the plastic trays will be made from 100% recycled plastic and the paper used for the front photos will be 100% recycled as well. Their first DVD with green packaging will be the third season of Weeds; hitting stores this June. This makes me feel less guilty when I buy upwards to 10 DVDs in one shopping trip.
